High quality and high volume air dryer (aka dehumidifier). Not very loud but you can hear it running in turbo mode especially. I recommend this for large basement or area to exchange a LOT of air.

I was very impressed with this model. I didn™™t realize how much moisture was in my basement until I starting using it. Now if your basement is like mine after about three days you will have to empty it unless you have it drain which I am in the process of doing so I don™™t have to manually do it myself but nonetheless it really isn™™t a big deal. I immediately smelt the difference after a few hours and after a day or so constantly running it was great. Also easy to clean as well and maintain it.

We switched over to Frigidaire just recently from Homelabs. Their units broke just after the maximum 2 year warrantee expired and didn't offer extended warranty or service on their own units?? We have only had your unit in for a month but can already tell the quality of the unit, air flow, accessibility to cleaning and overall quality of maintaining humidity is far superior.

I was initially planning to purchase the 50 pint, but I'm glad I went with the maximum capacity. I have a high-humidity small/medium room I'm primarily using it in and I'm consistently impressed by the volume of water it is pulling out of the air. I do move it between rooms, and it can be a little big and heavy to get up and down stairs, but it's well worth the effort for the impact that it has. Highly recommended!

I hope a Frigidaire customer relations person will read this review and will pass along the information to the people that maybe can do something about the fact that these dehumidifiers consistently only last 1-2 seasons.The last one to stop working was a model FFAP033T1E, a 70 Pint unit. The original unit, model FAD704DWD had a 5 year warranty, so it was replaced 5 times!!! Each unit showed the dreaded FO error code after 1 or 2 seasons. I have seen many reviews in several sites, including some in this site where people complain about their units dying after just 1 or 2 years of use. Even the new models, which are now 60 pints units, are getting reviews saying the same thing. How is it possible that Frigidaire has not solved the problem that is causing the units to stop working after such a short time? The people responding to some of the reviews here appear surprised at the reviews that complain of their unit dying, when in fact they probably get hundreds of complaints like this daily. I also found out that the warranty has now been decreased from 5 years to 1 year! This means that there is no chance of getting a replacement once the unit dies after 1 or 2 seasons.I really like the dehumidifier while it's working. Its has nice features and works well, but not for long. I was actually considering purchasing one of the new 60 pint models, but then I saw reviews complaining about the same issue!It is really a shame that Frigidaire continues to sell these units that they know will fail within 1-2 years and will have to be thrown out, most probably going to landfills and have a terrible effect on the environment.I would like to ask Frigidaire to address this problem to try to improve their product. Why is it that the old dehumidifiers lasted for years and years (I have a Sears unit that has been working for about 40 years and still going!), but Frigidaire can't make a unit that lasts even 3 years?I implore Frigidaire to address the issue!!

I rated this product a 4 star only because there is ringing noise that comes on when the compressor turns on. I owned the next size smaller Frigidaire dehumidifier prior to this one which did not have that noise.

My basement was damp enough to cause moisture in the shingles of the house. It has taken the humidity right down, much better than my old humidifier. The basement is much more comfortable and the shingles on the exterior can now be painted without moisture problem.

So far after two weeks I will say it does it jobs good removing moisture from the air. I would like to mention it needs a stronger handle to the bucket. Plastic gets brittle over time and over 2 gallons of water is quite heavy. If you plan on using continuous draining with a hose this will never be an issue. I am worried that the small clips holding the top together or the handle will eventually break because of repeated removing the bucket full of water. I did get a hose and placed it on continuous drain and after a week of flawless draining somehow the bucket filled up even though the continuous drain light was on. I turned the button on and off and it began draining from the hose again. I will keep my eye on this. I did notice some reviews that some units got stuck on an error message light and I am wondering if the electronics may have a bug in it. Just a thought. All in all though I am pleased and would recommend this product (provided that the continuous drain feature holds its setting this time).

I purchased this 60 pint unit from Amazon on March 11, 2021. By July of 2022 it was non-functioning. Very disappointing. Was not used over the winter so in reality, only about 6 months of use. Pretty poor manner to lose $400.

While only time will tell regarding how long this dehumidifier will provide service, so far this is *the best* dehumidifier my wife and I have purchased. We are using the dehumidifier in a basement of a 1930's home in Milwaukee -- the basement gets rather damp. The dehumidifier is not silent however it is the quietest dehumidifier we've owed, even with the fan set to "Turbo Fan". Also, this thing pulls a remarkable amount of water out of the air; so far it has been filling its bucket in under 24 hours. Would recommend to my friends.

This 60 Pint Dehumidifier absolutely works much better than I expected. It dropped the humidity down from 66% to 40% quickly after initial setup. You have it listed as not terribly quiet but I think it is especially compared to my last dehumidifier. Also, the holding tank is easy to remove and put back in, another plus. I am quite happy with my purchase and for the way it works and the quality of the unit, I think it is very reasonably priced.

After receiving the dehumidifier, waiting for the freon to settle, and turning it on, it has been running almost nonstop since. Humidity level set to 50%. It's has almost caught to the point of not running constantly but, springtime in NJ can be wet and humid. Overall, I'm very happy with the performance of the product.

Purchased this unit in July of 2020 for our encapsulated Crawlspace and it worked fine keeping the humidity down to 45%. However I noticed this winter, the humidity was up to 65% in the crawlspace so I reset the unit and cleaned out the filter but no change. Looks like the longevity is similar to other box store u it™™s, about 2 years.

This is our third Frigidaire dehumidifier. The dehumidifiers that we had before that were not effective at reducing the humidity in our basement, but the Frigidaire dehumidifiers have done a much better job. They only last 2 to 4 years, but they are effective.

My previous Frigidaire dehumidifier worked flawlessly and practically non-stop for almost 20 years. This new unit works as well or better than the one it replaces. Very efficient, and has no trouble maintaining 50% humidity in a 2.5 car garage.
