The range is nice and burners work well. The fifth burner comes in handy. Oven & broiler work well. My biggest complaint is how difficult it is to keep the shiny black stovetop clean. A matte finish that didn™™t show every water spot, smudge & crumb would be appreciated.

so far, very happy. when I went out to compare stoves I discovered the Frigidaire had all the features that were important to me. It felt SOLID when opening the oven door... others were tinny and light weight. The top grids were 3 sections and easy for me to handle when cleaning.. the knobs are large and marked (easy to read) the top control panel.... simple, direct and easy to use. only one thing .. the timer is not loud enough to hear in another room. (just using the timer on my phone).

This particular model has to be the low end of Frigidaire gas stoves. Whenever we turn the oven on we feel loads of heat flowing through the top back part of the stove and it is very hot to the touch. This is a very poor model and should be taken off the market.

Brand New Install and the house filled with smoke as soon as it was turned on

I called to have a service person come check the installation of a brand new oven in a new home. I was told if they came out and there was no problem I would be charged a service fee. This is a brand new unit. When the oven was turned on the first time it immediately smelled like something was burning and filled my kitchen and family room with smoke.I was told this was normal and that it could last up to 2 hours and to just open the windows.That's unacceptable. This is a gas stove, I don't want to risk my life or others if there is a defect in the installation. There is no reason a brand new appliance does not allow one follow up visit without charging a fee.

The stovetop flames leave soot on my cookware and every burner is boiling at its lowest setting. I have had gas ranges for 50 years and I™™ve never had one that couldn™™t be controlled.

The burners & oven heat quickly and evenly. We are very worried about the knobs though. They are very easily turned on, just from brushing them as you walk by. We have come into the kitchen a number of times with them turned ever so slightly and you can smell gas. This flaw is rather big and we aren't sure about what to do.

Terrific stove. Am using the broiler for everything. Very easy to use, simple controls. Found that I don't really need five burners, but nice to have. Only concern is that the burner controls on the front do not lock OFF, and so they will turn ON if you lean against them while dealing with things on top, or with the microwave above it. Kind of unsafe.

We've had our stove for a month now and we love it. It's beautiful, easy to clean, the features of the different burners are fantastic, and the oven is quite roomy. Changing over from an electric to a gas stove is fantastic; things cook much faster (there may have been a few burned meals), but it's a learning curve. There's only two things that I would bring up for other people's information:1. When we had the stove hooked up, the plumber didn't think to check the fittings on the stove itself. Later on we were smelling gas and when we tested his fittings they were fine. The fittings on the stove itself needed to be tightened. It was a learning experience for him, too.2. The center burner...wonderful having it, but I wish it was an oval burner that a griddle pan would heat evenly on. Overall, we love our stove and are very happy with the purchase!

I love this stove but... It caught on fire

This stove came as a new appliance in our new home. After about one month of use, I set the oven at 450 degrees to bake some frozen fish sticks. As I waited for the preheat to finish, I smelled a horrible plastic like smell coming from the stove. I went and checked it out and there was nothing. The smell increased, so I checked it again and the whole bottom of the stove was on FIRE!! I turned it off, took the spray nozzle from the sink and extinguished the flames. I was terrified! I would not even attempt to use it until we had someone come and look at it. The repairman said it was okay, that I extinguished the flames before anything became damaged. He said there was a small bit of plastic something that had caught on fire, probably left in the oven from manufacturing! We had only used the stove top before this! It was truly a scary experience!
