The air conditioner works well, the only complaint is the noise. It makes a very strange gurgling noise when the compressor turns on.

The unit is working great. I had a lot of water pouring out of it the first time I used it. I didn't realize how much humidity was in the room. After that it was normal. I have been completely happy with the unit.

We have a Boat House and durning the Summer it gets incredibly hot in the house. We installed the Frigidaire Window Air Conditioner this Summer. The difference from last year to this year is amazing. We can now enjoy the Boat House as well as entertain. Instead of being 80+ it is now 75 and pleasant. Great air conditioner.

I finally had to replace my 13 year old Frigidaire 15,000 BTU unit which is almost identical to the air conditioning unit 15,100 BTU. I purposely looked for the same unit as close as possible and more importantly it had to be Frigidaire. My old unit lasted a very long time with regular maintenance and wanted the same quality as before. Happy to say, I installed this unit, it™™s so much like my old unit, same size, dimensions that I used my old sleeve and slid this new one right in that same sleeve. I saved some time and saved the new sleeve for the ™ you never know situation™ This new unit has Very similar features, as if they knew this unit was so reliable and just gave it a face lift as the years went by. I am extremely happy with my purchase!!

Home depot uses Fed Ex for the delivery on internet orders. First it was shipped to the wrong address and city, then the box looked like it went through a war zone. The air conditioner was dented but is working fine so far.

I purchased this A/C as a replacement for one that I accidentally dropped on the ground. It has great features and also has an ™Eco™ mode to save money on my electric bill. I love that it came with a remote control and insulation panels that I could cut for my windows that would also save my electric bill! Overall, I would give this A/C a 10 star (out of a possible score of 10) rating.

Have been using since I received unit 2 weeks ago. Functionally the unit so far, has been working very well in the hot 90's and humid weather. Hopefully it will continue to do a good job for many years to come. You definitely will need help installing the unit due to weight . I bought a support bracket to help with weight so the window was not bearing all the weight. You will need to slide the unit out of the casing so that the side panels can be installed for the included window panels. I then installed the optional support bracket, placed the ac shell in the window and with help slid the core into the case. My issues with the unit were it was damaged from the shipper, there were a few dents in the front of the casing which I had to remedy to slide the unit out and back in the case, and there was a crack on the front top left panel that left a sharp edge. If you are able to buy it at the store, I would recommend that versus having it shipped, but i needed the unit and that was the only option, also this model sells out as fast as it is available. The performance overall is very good, though it can be a little loud on high, but not a deal breaker. Energy consumption I cannot speak to yet as I have not received my electric bill,but I do not expect it to be much higher than with the unit I replaced it with.

I bought this AC as I was hoping it would cool the house and it did that and then some! Very happy with the power it gives us to cool the house, the instructions to put together were a little unclear when it came to pushing the panel to the side to unlock but after that it was easy!

It cools my kitchen perfectly, which is open to a dining room and open to the living room beyond that - an open floor plan. The unit is placed so that it has a straight shot down to the living room, and the house is very small. It should handle our square footage just fine. However, I'm thinking of placing a fan in the dining area to help push the cold air into the living room. It just doesn't quite reach there. And the temp sensing remote doesn't seem to work very well. It also has to be re-activated every time the A/C is turned on.Otherwise, as I said, the kitchen can turn ice cold. No issues there. The fan just feels more "medium" when set on "high."

Previous Unit was a 12000 BTU Panasonic A/C purchased in 2004 ,The Frigidaire 15100 BTU A/C Unit has been nothing short of outstanding across-the-board.. the Unit was professionally installed according to the BTU of Unit with Frigidaire brackets installed even the installer mentioned the unit was a Excellent choice compared to other brands tease of installation and modular design..???? the unit is currently running beautifully is this hot weather

This is a very nice AC, it works well. The only issue I have is that putting on the side panels was made unnecessarily difficult. It's a 2-person task, as you must remove the front panel of the AC and remove the AC unit itself. The unit is heavy, and it will take 2 people to slide it out. The pictures in the installation guide are easier to follow than the actual wording. After you get the side panels installed the unit placed in the window and the front panel reattached the unit works well.

I purchased this unit to replace a tired and wore out Frigidaire unit. So far, I am very impressed with the unit. This unit is the highest BTU for 110 I've found and when compared to other brands, Frigidaire had a better price and higher BTU than anyone else. The new insulation panels included with the window kit are absolutely great and simple to install; the window kit has tabs for the insulation panels to slide right in. Frigidaire makes great quality units, and I am 100% happy. Shipping time purchasing directly from Frigidaire's website was 2-days faster than Lowe's and Amazon......very impressive!

This window unit was very intimidating upon opening the box, but after reading the instructions we realized that it was very simple. We installed the exterior shell of the unit and the main unit slipped in like a breeze. We are elderly and we got it installed within a couple of hours (including building an external brace). I would recommend this unit to everyone.

I ran the old 15,000 BTU Frigidaire window A/C unit until it simply wore out. The new unit definitely runs quieter and seems to run less than the older did when it was new. I use it to cool the larger half of the house, which includes the kitchen and dining area. This is the biggest Frigidaire unit that I could find that runs on 110vac. Keep that in mind if shopping for a larger unit. I have 2 smaller Frigidaire window units in other parts of the house that also do a great job. Only time will tell the longevity of this model. I am so far quite pleased.
