This a/c unit is petty powerful. Puts out a lot of cold air. Controls are easy to use with useful functions. The vent is one piece for vertical adjustment but 2 separate horizontal adjustments. Would be better if vertical could be split into 2 separate panels. This unit is very loud. Was installed as per tje instructions and double checked. Its just loud. Much louder than the larger unit that was being replaced.

looks like it was dropped from 6 foot in the back.! compressor was at a 45 angle--It still worked good for 10 days--Then it lost all the freon --got a free replacement from amazon 3 weeks later--(sweat it out)--New one was on a wood pallet -not a SCRATCH --thats how all should come! !My contractor bill $200-old to new-Someone elses should pay HIM ! ! !

I replaced an 18,000 BTU window unit with this 28,000 BTU unit. I'm very satisfied so far, but its only been 3 days. The outside temperatures have been 98-102 degrees for the last week and this unit does put out a lot of cold air.

Love the coolness the air conditioner puts out. The problem is for us is we have to keep it on 70 and continuous cool. Any other setting the temperature in my house rises to 78 degrees. Would love it to be a tomato™™s and be able to rest in between cycles.

Great value unit. I replaced a older discontinued Freidrich unit with this one. The only complaint I have is the manufacture installed a 30 amp plug on the new A/C . The manufacture specs say 230 volt / 13 amp. I did not want to cut the plug off so I had to hire a electrician to change my recepticle plug in wall.

I've only had it for a short time. This is my 4th over the past 25 years. It cools my whole house. The last one was great for 5 years but this years extreme heat and drought took a toll on it. In my area of Texas we had extreme Sahara dust as well as our own dust. I thoroughly cleaned it but it would not cool anymore. Decided to get a new one with extended warranty. Only issue was a design change in the widow surround. It was expanded by half an inch and would not fit my window. Luckily my old one fit perfectly in my window. But beware its bigger and may not fit where the previous one did. Hoping it lasts for many years.

The AC unit arrived on time. It was easy to install. It is heavy and a large unit. It is not as quiet as anticipated. It is loud. It cools very well. I set it at 72 degrees and it stays there. It cools 3- 4 rooms easily. Overall happy with this purchase and would recommend to friends and family.

The Frigidaire 28000 btu window a/c unit is very nice. Cools the house very well (I have 3 oscillating fans to help with circulation). Have only used Eco mode, after an initial 20 minutes on Auto mode. Beats melting in the heat! We'll see what next month's electric bill brings...
