very loud high pitched squealing noise

The refrigerator itself is very nice, lots of room, everything works well except it has had a high pitch squealing noise since we bought it. It hurts your ears and our guests when we have them over. I have had repairmen out many times who just say it is the compressor. I played the sound to the whirlpool people who said it is definitely not the compressor sound and sent repair people out again. same repair people and same excuse from them. very disappointed with that.
