I found the dials hard to see I lost the use of my drawer under the cooktop it gets dirty very fast and is hard to clean the finger marks off seems to be greasy and leaves streaks when you clean it a little noisy and I had to buy a set of new pots and pans because none of mine will work

We love our second induction stovetop. It heats quickly, and you are able to maintain heat at a very low setting. You have to make sure you center your cooking utinsils properly, but if you don't, the stovetop will shut off. Having hight-quality cooking utinsils is a must - and warpage can affect the heating. The mid-range cost seems fair, and the reputation of Electrolux is encouraging.

We decided to switch to induction in our new home. So far, I love this cooktop. I am able to control the temperature much easier than on any other cooking method, and it™™s super easy to wipe down. It does take a little time to get used to finding the controls since they™™re integrated into the dark glass top, but once you get it, it™™s super easy.

This is our first induction cooktop and we have been using it now for about 10 months - we love it! It heats up so quickly and the nature of induction means the entire pan bottom evenly heats up which means the food is evenly cooked through.

I bought the 36" all induction to replace my older Electrolux induction/electric cooktop that lasted 6 years. It is nice, but the controls and settings are very hard to see. As with most homes I have a range light on over my cooktop and the power and timer controls on lower right corner wash out into the black top. Once the burner is on the + - power level individual burner control is hard to see. I wind up using the finger swipe most times but that can result in going to high real quick.The other con is that the burner element size are all pretty large, I sometime need to use a small 4" sauce pan to melt butter/chocolate or make gravy. All the burners are much too big for the pan. The manual says to use a pan that covers the burner element or it won't heat correctly. It still heats the pan but 1 small smaller burner would be nice.

This is a beautiful high-end unit, well engineered, useful features, great cooking performance. The touch controls are very functional, you just can™™t see the markings in normal ambient light. The induction hum is louder than expected with All-Clad cookware, but not a major issue. Easily a 5-star cooktop, but an ergonomic FAIL.

This unit was a warranty replacement for a unit that was about 8 years old. That unit was partial induction and I was nervous that this model being fully induction would be limiting. So far though it has performed very well! Looking forward to kicking the tires some more.

We replaced a 10 year old Electrolux that was having some issues with this unit, and we are glad we did. It is easier to use, more precise for heat settings, and heats things up much quicker than the old unit. While operating, it is totally silent. We looked at other brands, but after a comparison of specifications, we chose the Electrolux. It was a good choice!

I had the first arrive with the top smashed. Re ordered and excited to try it out. Turned it on and controls heated up and needed repair man to come. They could not come for a month so no cooktop. We need a replacement but still waiting. So sad, new home, no cooktop.

We bought higher end because we thought it would work better and last longer. Boy we're we wrong!!! In 6 years we had 2 of these and they BOTH died! Within a year on BOTH, 2 burners out of three quit working. Fortunately with the first one the company we bought it from gave us a new Cooktop. The second one we had we could only use one burner and by three years it made a loud popping noise and quit working altogether. We will never buy Electrolux again, what a waste of money!

I dont often write reviews, but we love this cooktop. Didnt know a thing about induction cooktops, but this lovely model was on clearance, so we took a chance. We love this cooktop. The design is sleek, cleans easily and the blue LED touch dials are a blast to use. Very accurate. No problems yet. Love it. Realy does boil a pot of water in about a minute.

I am so pleased with this cooktop. We renovated our kitchen and the induction cooktop replaced a gas cooktop. Cleaning the cooktop after using a skillet with oil was tedious until the Electrolux consultant in a live chat confirmed that you can wipe the cooktop off with Windex. That works well (wait until the element has cooled). Using a splatter screen and putting parchment paper in the area around the skillet helps too. Then I use the buffing creme. The cooktop sears meat beautifully.

We Love the clean looks and lines with no knobs and touch on and off features. The best part, however, is its cooking ability. So fast and accurate its amazing. We are experiencing one thing that we cannot define. It will make LOUD cracking noise every once in a while. It sounds as if the whole glass top just cracked? Not sure what is going on but we hope that stops, soon and is not causing damage, or you will here from us soon.

I'm very pleased with the performance of my cooktop. The speed is fantastic and the response to control change is, too. Efficient, so even when using multiple burners, I don't feel as though I'm over a hot stovetop. Easy to clean as food does not burn if splattered. Only concern was that my first model died suddenly after a year of use. Electrolux was unable to repair, so replaced with a new, complete unit. Hopefully, a one time problem. Also wish other color options were available as black does show lint and smudges easily. Would also have liked ability to change settings connected to a timer.

I have this product and thought it was a good product until the power supply failed 15 months after purchasing it. Electrolux's customer service was severely lacking. Based on reviews of other Electrolux induction cooktops, it appears to be a flaw in the design. If you purchase this, don't be surprised when it breaks.

This cook top is beautiful and does a nice job with fast cooking and instant off much like a gas stove. The controls are very hard to see however and takes a bit of getting used to. They are almost invisible at certain angles. They are not easy to operate as one might hope. Still I am enjoying this cook top. Likely I would choose one next time that I could see where to touch for the controls. Your finger has to be exactly on the right spot and again, you cannot see the spot easily. Additionally, this cook top scratched about the first week I had it. I have owned several different glass cook tops for about 25 years and this is the first one ever to scratch. Not sure if it is more susceptible or what but it now has a scratch on it.

I am a plumbing professional and I installed this cooktop in my own home. The controls are all but invisible whether the unit is off or powered up. You have to get your face right down to the surface to see the controls. A little backlighting when the cooktop is on would do a world of good and now effect the sleek looks of the top when it's off.

I splurged and bought this Electrolux cooktop a month ago for our new house build. After much research on every induction cooktop out there I couldn't live without this. It does everything and more then I expected. My 3 year old who loves cooking can now cook with me without burning himself due to there feature of only heating up the pot and nothing around it. And only identifies a maganetic pot and not his hand when turning it on. he loves that water heated up and boils so fast so he can start cooking noodles right away and doesn't have to wait. It is truly beautiful when I turn it on and looks stunning in my kitchen. Everyone complements on it and how futuristic it looks and I couldn't be happier with how it cooks and performs. Never has and in even cooking spots, easy to use, easy to clean, freatures are fantastic. Thank you Electrolux for making my new kitchen the best kitchen ever. Advice to others: don't buy gas or electric they don't cook as good or as fast as a induction. And don't bother looking at others. This is the one to buy. Make the investment you will be happy you did. I've used gas and electric for years and will never go back to them.

After installation, it powered up pretty well the first time. However, second time we try to cook something with it, it doesn™™t power up at all. After repair done covered by warranty, it is working pretty well again. The power supply section of the appliance has some defect, they have to replace the section. Otherwise, it is good product and design. I am worry about reliability.

This cook top replaced an electric flat cooktop and we couldn't be more pleased. The heat is very fast and cools down quickly as well. You would have to be trying pretty hard to burn something with the adjustable heat working so quickly. Cleanup is a breeze without any nobs in the way.

I'd have given 5 stars, had the controls been marked so one could see them. Electrolux has gone a little overboard, making the controls impossible to see without an overhead light shining directly on the cooktop. If they were white, instead of translucent light blue on the black background, you'd have gotten 5 stars, hands down!

This cooktop works well, boils water like a champ, and can hold a consistent temperature for sauces, reducing, etc. The one think I don't like about it that my old Electrolux had was it is really hard to see the controls. You have to bend down and squint to make out the cooktop control, the "+" and "-" locations, etc. To me this was a step backwards; it looks monolithic in black, but it's a lot of work to find the controls.
