We needed a multi purpose ac with heater unit . After some research we decided on thisn10k unit with heater . We have a bedroom thats on the 2nd floor that we shut the heat off in the winter and this will be perfect for us to maintain the desired temp all year .. the bonus is the dry feature that works really wellalong with the WiFi feature for setting the temp remotely prior to arriving home We highly recommend this unit for anyone thats limited on window space and for multi temp needs .

Ive had the AC unit for over a month and its performance has been perfect. Easy to set up and quick to learn. I havent had an issue with the unit and it has been running 24/7.

This is awesome The fact that it can be turned on/off remotely AND from your phone/tablet is a game changer You can even configure it with Google Home. Plus it has 4 functions: heat cold fan and de-humidifier. What more can you ask for?

I was excited to replace my six year old LG unit and that quickly changed as the unit arrived defective not operating properly.I spent hours trying to resolve the issue with LG which is incredibly difficult .Finally they agreed to pick up the unit for a return/replacement which to date I have no communication as to where my new unit is
My next action will be to contact my bank to refuse payment on the product which I do not have.
I would not recommend anything from LG from my experience with them.

Heat doesnt work well at all unless the temperature is very mild. If its 50 it may heat the room a couple degrees but anything lower than that it doesnt work and iced up. Technician said its not designed to heat a room by itself. If I had another heater why would I buy it? Waste of money for the heat.

Weve had this unit for a 3 months now and are impressed with its might. Its worked well both for air conditioning cooling and now quick room-heating needs churns a lot of air flow and is gratefully reliable as we have it paired to Alexa for ease of turning on off and adjusting the thermostat temperature from anywhere in the room house or prior to returning home from the app - very convenient. It fits the decor of the room and is semi-hidden behind a chair vents out of a window just fine.
Strongly recommend wrapping the plastic vent sleeve in a duct-insulation material so that when using the AC the HOT air being pumped from the unit out of the vent/window doesnt radiate back into the room from the plastic - it makes a big big difference to cool the room quicker.
One note is that when set the heating mode the unit churns out quite an impressive amount of water through the back pump so we need to drain a 2 gallon container once-daily if kept on all day/overnight for example. The pump does work in all positions so all good if needed to have it go vertically up before entering a container its got pump power. Or you can theorhetically have the pump tube be positioned/installed to drain outside or into a proper interior drain depending on your setup so that this isnt an issue.
Its worth noting that this is a powerful and louder unit so when the thermostat is set if its in your bedroom area and on overnight for temperature control AC or heat you may have trouble sleeping through its cycling on and off repeatedly if youre a lighter sleeper. Also recommend keeping a door cracked open if using AC so that your ears dont experience the rooms air pressure jumping when the unit first turns on in a smaller room.
Overall this unit is exactly what we were looking for. Its sleek helpful all-year round with impressive AC and heat Alexa-enabled easy to set up and install and so far continues to function 3 months in. Thanks kindly LG Team

I bought the LG 10000 BTU Smart Wi-Fi Portable Air Conditioner Cooling Heating unit from HD about 2 months ago. I had it delivered to my home. It Worked great for about a month and then started making a loud sound. Some nights the noise is so loud it wakes us up. Variation in the air flow can be felt in sync with the noise. It does seem to cool fine and It isnt icing.

we bought this AC because our window ac was getting old and so are we so this was very easy to install. it does a excellent job of cooling our room .which with no preis about 500sq we did have a problem with in piece being chipped off I called LG and they are sending the replace part. that was about 3weeks age but I have not received it as of today

Bought this unit from HD a week ago and had it delivered to my door. Worked great for about three days and then started intermittently producing a distracting somewhat loud sound like as another customer described it possibly the same issue a plastic bag flapping around or buffeting in a car with windows down. Variation in the air flow can be felt in sync with the noise. It seems to cool fine regardless. It isnt icing. Outdoor dewpoint is about 65 and indoor about 55. Outdoor temp range 65 at night to 95 daytime. Indoor in the cooler area 72-78 with unit running continuously medium large room.
I dont use Twitter or Facebook.
It will be difficult for me to return a 70 lb product on my own. Cant say Im thrilled at the moment. It is however 82-95 degrees night/day in the rest of the house during this heat wave so I guess Ill keep using it till it quits or the weather improves.
