My husband researched this and purchased it specifically because the website said the plug was 115 volt / 15 amp. After installing the very heavy device today in the window he unwrapped the plug as a final step and it was a 220 volt plug. We are unable to use it. He called customer service and no one will be able to help us for two days. Other reviews indicate that it is a 115v/15a plug however ours is absolutely the wrong plug. *I verified on the website that it should in fact have a 115 volt plug and the model number on the box is correct with the model number we purchased. We are incredibly upset by this.

This unit was purchased to replace an existing unit that after 15 years developed a leak causing condensate to drip into my walls. Now that doesnt sound too promising but in actuality turned out to be a blessing This unit is so much quieter and cools the area more efficiently than the one it has replaced. I have used this for one summer season so no report on longevity from me but I have used LG products for quite a while and have been pleased with their performance and reliability that is one of the main reasons I selected this one for replacement.

Picked this up to help cool our 30x40 workshop. We have it set up on a makeshift stand right now until we can get the hole cut in the wall to mount it in. This keeps the shop cool in this hot summer Florida heat. Very pleased with it and love the smart wifi it has.

This air-conditioner was part of my states energy efficiency program. It is programmable using the alexa app and lowers the fan speed when the room temperature is near the target temperature saving me money and excessive noise of a traditional air-conditioner that runs on max speed the entire time it is active.

Exceptional A/C with all the bells and whistles This unit will cool down 1440 Sq Ft at 23500 BTUs it is one of the largest of window units on the market. The unit is very quiet and powerful at the same time. Plus it has the ability to work with Alex and can be controlled through WIFI using LGs App that can be downloaded. The A/C unit comes with everything needed for installation but you may need some extra materials. The unit is very heavy so you will need to install support from underneath and you will also have to install a 115 volt/15 Amp receptacle to run the power. The unit has a washable filter that easily removes from the front of the unit behind the grill just pull down on the grill from the top and remove the filter. Overall this unit works and looks great when installed. I hope to gets years of service from the LG A/C window unit

This is an amazing air conditioner blows very cold. Has wifi abilities. Very big very heavy unit. Suggested to have outside support when unit is installed in a window. Runs extremely quiet and efficiently. Cools room to desired temperature fast. Dropped my room from 83 degrees down to 70 in under 45 minutes. Simply to set temperature and fan speeds. Easy to access filter for cleaning.

I bought this July 8th mainly because it was the largest of any brand and thought it would have to work less hard to do the job of cooling about 700 sq ft . Really liked the quieter running and no sound of a surge or thump when the compressor kicks on or off unfortunately it only last 30 days and stopped working August 7th. Luckily I was able to exchange it where I bought it Ill keep my fingers crossed for the second one

I bought it last month because my old ac wasnt cooling during the day. They didnt have the size I needed so I had to settle for a big 23500. Its very nice and cold in the living room. I wanted to replace my ac/heater but there were none in the store anywhere so I had to settle.
