I bought this one month ago and I love it but the usb c port is not thunderbolt 3 and that is one of the reasons why I bought this product

Broke in less than a year. I was warned not to buy this and I should have listened. The Tab Pro S is great but this adapter is garbage and a ripoff.

The USB passthrough failed within a year. It was treated carefully, not abused. No external signs of wear.
I usually prefer to use OEM accessories, but in this case an aftermarket vendor like Aukey would probably be a better choice.

Purchased this for my Galaxy Book 12 in hopes to transfer files between phone and computer but the dang thing doesn't even read my phone properly. Thought it was the cable or phone settings, but nope it isn't. The phone will connect when I use the free adapter provided in the Note 9 box (Could have saved $90). All I use it for now is my USB mouse and occasionally HDMI. Not worth the price since it can't do one of the most important things. Maybe Samsung could update the phone to make it compatible? It is also a tad annoying that dangles but I guess it is a dongle..

Some folks may have received defective units, but I have used it with my Galaxy Book 12 (8/256) and with the GB12 charger it charges my tablet, supports HDMI to my QHD monitor, and lets me run a USB HD.

Worked well to transfer files from phone to Tablet Pro S in April 2018, tried again July and my phone won't set to transfer files. Support said use a shorter cord instead of my phone cord (this is what I used in April w/o issue). So I buy a shorter usb cord, it was working, now having same problem again. I'm just going to buy a laptop with ports and cd drive. Samsung phone, Adapter and tablet and this thing does not work.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, you would need to buy this, as the tablet has only one port. A type C. It appears not many cheaper type C hubs will work properly with this tablet. They wont charge the tablet while your using the HDMI or USB 3 ports on the hub. The cost of this Samsung multiport adapter is offensive but your options are few.

Even though it says it is compatible with Galaxy Book 10.6" and even 12", you cannot charge your book and transfer display signals via HDMI at the same time. If you are a 10.6" book user, forget about connecting a monitor and charging at the same time because you have only one USB type C connection port. Choose one monitor or charge, just ridiculous!
By the way entire Samsung cannot solve this issue and cannot adress me any compatible device which charge and pass video signal at the same time.

Try as much as you'd like, the male adapter on the dongal isn't designed for this tablet. The Tab2 uses a standard mircoUSB-B (with the beveled edge). This product has an oval male adapter.
Samsung customer service was excellent in processing a refund but whomever listed on the website the Tab2 as compatible should get a sound chewing by the boss.

This does not work with the Galaxy Tab S2 tablets, It is made for Windows tablets and therefore has a different connector.

I have a samsung slim external bluray drive and I can't connect it to the tablet. Aparently the adapter lacks of enough power supply to the drive(even conected to the charger). I connect the drive to another laptop without problem.
