Totally Overpriced

It's a slim case that only attaches with magnets and has a hard time standing up.

It's good. However the tablet comes with an S pen but, the cover doesn't have a holder? Terrible design flaw. Doesn't make any sense.

I purchased this book cover as I felt I didn't need the keyboard cover that Samsung advertises, however I'm now wishing I didn't.
The book cover uses magnets to adhere to the tablet, while convenient, doesn't work too well in practice. The magnets are fairly weak and often I'm reattaching the cover to the tablet because it fell off. I much preferred the Tab S1 and its application method, where it had dedicated divets the book cover would lock into.
This book cover has only two angles you can prop the tablet up in, and I find myself wishing I could prop it up more vertically, like you can with the Tab S1 book cover.
It's better than nothing, and it's okay for preventing microscratches that would occur from placing the glossy tablet onto a table.

A poorly designed product, especially considering that the s2 case was good. No pen loop, no firm attachment to tablet, no protection.

Because i'm impatient and didn't want to order online, I went to best buy in search of the keyboard cover only to find out in the 3 best buy locations i went to was sold out. I really didn't want my tablet unprotected, so i just went ahead and bought this book cover instead.
This cover is amazing. It is a simple thing. The cover holds together magnetically and sticks to the tablet pretty well. It slipped off once when i fist got it because i had a stupid moment trying to figure out how to stand it up, but that was just about it. I did test it out by lifting the tablet by the cover alone and it did carry the tablet with it (I wouldn't shake it though).
The look and feel of the cover gives a very premium feeling to it. Although the price is high, for me, it was worth it as I love staring and carrying it with me. I probably will not get the keyboard anymore.

A huge step down from S2 cover

What happened to the cover buttons on back? The S3 cover uses weak magnets to hold it to the tablet. Fell apart 3 times in a hour, very disappointed.

The magnetic attachment is not very strong. It slips out of the case when on a table in horizontal mode. It is not worth the money. I returned mine back to Best Buy, since I was still waiting for my pre-ordered that was ordered March 17 on the Samsung website. Found one online for much less and it works much better. Sorry Samsung, you missed the mark on this one.
