i replaced my older tab s3. first the "bad" i would have give unit 5 stars but i think the older table's screen is better. the tas s3's colors and whites are definitely better to me - they just pop with tablets side by side.
the tab s6 is lighter than my older tablet. has 256g of storage for the same price of my old tablet 32g. i love samsung email app (i had to download from galaxy store). i like the new longer v square screen. face and finger print unlock are impressive and work well, not flawlessly, but very good. i love the build quality and color i choose - the pink bronze. battery life and charging are very good. bluetooth audio on my noise cancelation head hopes is great.
overall a great device i hope to use for years to come.

the charging port is on the bottom which makes it hard to hold upright while using during charge. compared to other tablets i have had nook, kindles, not any different just double the cost of a kindle hd 10 new at $250.00 same thing different name. i always get the max and install a micro card to get the 512. i have yet to get the micro card i ordered on jan. 30th. with this item. i got the galaxy buds live they hurt my ears i knew the galaxy pro would not stay in my ears so went with the other type they stay but hurt.

i really enjoy samsung products. the tab s6 is my 2nd samsung tablet and i am really happy with it. however, there are a couple of things i am not happy with.
1st - i wish there was a way to disable the vibrate notification function. i have no need for it.
2nd - there are several apps that cannot be deleted or disabled. ar doodle, all bixby apps, daily board, messages, phone, samsung cloud, & samsung daily. i wish i could delete or disable these apps. as i have no need for them.

samsung dex is a good idea but it's not ready. all it does it make it look like you're using a desktop, but still functions like a tablet. i thought i could use this as a small laptop for when i have to bring work on the road, but just a couple months of use and i can no longer deal with the glitches that occur from the clash between mobile & desktop functionality. i'm still a samsung user, just bought a galaxy phone, but this tablet is too user-unfriendly for true work.

i love the machine. it is fast, vivid and surpringly works well as a laptop stand-in.
the samsung book cover keyboard however is the worst design for a tablet that i can imagine. worse yet there are no aftermarket covers with a keyboard that are better. first the magnetic absorption doesn't hold on mine so it keeps falling off. the stupid kickstand makes the device "unlapable" as a result it slides and then disconnects from the keyboard and falls in the floor. if you always sit a table when using it, it may be sufficient. horrible horrible design. i'm selling mine so i can get a tablet that can be used effectively on my lap while traveling. very disappointing.

i have been using a surface pro for work and with the pandemic i decided to get a tablet with a keyboard so that it would be easier to do online stuff. the battery doesn't last as long as the surface, i have to charge it every day, also the keyboard is not as big and ergonomic as the surface. the advantage of the samsung is that is android, so it's more compatible with apps and there are more free apps.

I'm a big fan of Samsung's S Pen supporting mobile devices and I've purchased pretty much every phone or tablet that supports their S pen (I find the phones and tablets without S pen support to be utterly useless to me).
I've had the Tab S6 since release day in 2019 and use it pretty much on a daily basis. It's very enjoyable to use except for the abysmal battery life (I disagree with those claiming it has good battery life. It simply doesn't!)
This tablet is by far the best Android tablet I've used, in these categories - Tab Design, Performance, Screen Quality and resolution, Sound Quality, Overall tab features and S pen design and functionality.
I'm looking forward to buying the next iteration this year (2020) regardless of the price, if Samsung will improve it in the following ways:
1. 120Hz refresh rate for the screen
2. Much larger battery (my Tab S4 has a much better battery life than my Tab S6)
3. Include much faster charging (it's frustrating to have to wait for an eternity to charge this thing)
4. Larger, at least 12.3 or 13 inch screen would be preferable (the current screen size is rather too small)
5. Even louder speakers (I'm impressed with the current speakers but need them to be louder for my purposes)
6. 1 TB or at least 512 gb internal storage option
7. Improved S pen design (I use my S pen for everything, but the current design isn't the most comfortable to hold for a long period of time)
8. Improve the strength of the magnet that holds the S Pen to the back of the tablet.
If they can deliver the above, I'll be one of the first people to pre-order a couple of Tab S7s (or whatever Samsung chooses to call it)
BTW, I love the minimalist design of the cover book and I really hope an improved version will be available on launch day for the Tab S7.

I bought the tablet and traded-in my old iphone. First my iphone value was reduced from $125 to $25 claiming the the device is a different model. After endless calls and emails, I decided to get my iphone back to save my time and effort.
The tablet speed is not satisfactory. By the time finished the trade-in problem, it was too late to return the tablet.

This tablet is a step up from the tab S4. I bought the s4 when it came out and it was the top tablet of the time..... until now. The tab s6 is the same size but speakers are clearer. The display is better. I recommend a different case for it but besides that I use this thing daily for my job,sports reporter, and it's perfect for the mobile laptop replacement.

A lot of reasons to like this tablet: current gen cpu (Snap 855 is a game changer compared to its predecessors), 8gb of ram, Adreno 640, S Pen, design, screen, and the list goes on. An absolute joy to use. I also found the tablet to be a great deal based on everything you are getting, and the upgrade from the tab s4 was significant. A beast of a tablet with lots of potential!

This tablet is so far the best one that has been made. Responds to typing without any issues. Haven't had to tap keys multiple times to get a letter to appear. It just works. Easy to operate, download apps. Pen is the best feature of the tablet.
Love that it has a trackpad. I don't like that it doesn't hold the tablet upright like the Tab S4 keyboard cover does. It's nearly impossible to use this on my lap. Tablet is very durable and made to last.
I'm not a fan of how I have to manually turn on the virtual keyboard with this keyboard attached to my tablet. The pen is very handy when drawing, or just writing. Very simple and easy to connect keyboard to monitor. I definitely recommend this tab s6. You can do about everything a laptop, or smartphone can do. The tablet charges pretty quickly and stays charged for hours. The tablet takes really good photos. I love that you can draw and has a pen.

The upgrades to the S6 are a plus from the S4. The S6 has a display resolution of 2560 x 1600, octa-core processor, 256 GB memory, audio is AKG with 4 speakers, one in each corner. S-Pen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth all standard. The Tab can also accommodate an external memory up to 512 GB. The Tab S6 is faster than the S4. A big improvement is the fingerprint scanner it works flawlessly, unlike the S4 where it was a hit or miss. The S6 is thinner and lighter making it a pleasure to travel with. The tablet is a 2 in 1 with the keyboard and Dex mode it operates and looks like a desktop/laptop. The days of dragging my laptop around are over now that the S6 takes its place. With the 8-core processor and 8 GB of ram the speed is impressive. The screen quality is spectacular. 4 quad speakers and the additional use of Dolby Atmos provides you with phenomenal sound. The S-Pen is easy to use and its perfect for note taking and even drawing a picture or two. With Dex mode I can also be multitasking. Imagine watching YouTube videos at 1444P, that's just what the Tab S6 does. The S6 has an aluminum back rather then a glass back like the S4. Gaming on a tablet was just okay until the S6 came along, it takes gaming to a whole new level with the game booster feature. Game booster squashes apps that are taking away power from the tablet, allowing you more playing time. Battery life is exceptional. I was never a fan of tablet cameras, but Samsung has outdone it with the built in ultra-wide lens mode. Picture taking with the tablet is fantastic. The fast c-port charge has you up and running in no time. The Bezel is very small, just enough to allow you to hold the tablet and see the whole screen. Overall this is the best tablet I have used by far.

Tab S6 is amazing. Battery life is incredible, every time i power it on and expect it to be dead its still going! runs every app that i need extremely fast (and i do use it on a daily basis for work snd personal use) screen is crisp and clear and love using the S pen. With DeX mode, very rarely do i reach or have a need for my laptop anymore with this tablet.

This new tablet model does not skimp on advanced features, bringing back some features seen in its advanced smartphones. It has features that make it easy to immerse and help people with everyday tasks, both basic and professional ones. To me, the most interesting feature is that handwritten text with the S Pen on the tablet screen can be converted to digital text with just a click of the pen, making notes easier and better with the device. This digital text is exported directly to Microsoft Word. You can still take these notes in any situation, even while watching a video or watching some photos using multitasking. The new tablet has gained high resolution dual rear cameras with wide framing. But despite the greater possibilities for photos, Samsung missed out on adding a flash. The front camera works perfectly and it is great for video conferences.

The Samsung Tab S6 tablet has become my go to device for use at home and on the go. This is a high end device and its performance is top notch. Everything from movies, games, websites and office applications work quickly and flawlessly. The size of this device is large for a tablet, but it's lightweight and easy to handle. With the addition of removable keyboard and S-pen, it becomes a fully functional PC replacement. The display is bright and crystal clear with crisp image. Battery on this device will last a full day on heavy usage. Device is driven by the updated Snapdragon 855 processor with 8GB and internal storage of 256GB. There is an extra option to adding an additional SD card if more is needed. The Tab S6 uses Bluetooth 5.0 and can handle multiple devices connections at the same time, including Bluetooth keyboard, mouse and headsets. With its strong wifi signal, it is the perfect device for anyone to stay connected and looking for a high performance PC replacement. Great device that I received for a discount for my honest review.

A beautiful screen, light-weight design paired with great software makes the Tab S6 a comprehensive product. With 10.5 gorgeous real estate, it's not only amazing for watching movies, videos but also allows for flawless multitasking (I bet the 6gb ram has a lot to do with it), and not to forget the brilliantly designed S-pen which elevates the tablets user experience to the next level.

Samsung galaxy tab S6 is best tablet I ever used. Performance is great, it's very fast. This tab s6 is very lightweight and slim. I used this tablet for my study purpose. This tablet included S-pen easy to take notes, if I write note using S-Pen its automatically convert text. S-Pen wireless charging its very useful. Back side of tablet have S-pen magnetic holder. This is very helpful while taking note. Picture quality is really good. movie watching experience is great. Good battery capacity.

This Samsung Galaxy tablet/PC is absolutely amazing. I was first blown away by how light weight it is! I absolutely love that the S pen is magnetic to the back of the tablet for way storage, as well as it wirelessly charges when it's put on the back of the tablet. In Dex mode you basically have a PC! This is a great function for small business owners like myself, you get the best of both worlds in one device. Another great plus is the speed of the tablet! It is lightening fast, and all of my normal applications I use to use on a lap top work seamlessly with the Galaxy tablet. This tablet takes away the bulk of a laptop while still performing just as good, actually better than one in my opinion. Lastly, I love that it is so easy to multitask with this tablet, I almost always need two screens up at the same time, and this powerful tablet can do just that! Overall I would highly recommend it to everyone. I would certainly purchase another as well. It is the best, lightest, fastest tablet I have ever owned.

I am in love with this product. I am always studying a programing language or something new cyber security so I keep all my books digitally. This Samsung Tab S6 has been amazing for my on the go lifestyle and constant studying. I love taking notes on it! I also love that I can hook this up to my other Samsung devices and use it to teach others what I'm studying.
The battery life on this is great. I can leave this is my work bag all week and not have to worry about it!
The S-Pen is amazing especially for me using it to study. Being able to take notes quickly and write on any screenshots I take it so convenient. It's so great that i can control the tablet with the pen. The wireless charging for the pen is fantastic!
Hands down I recommend this Samsung Tab S6 to anyone who is on the go and wants something that could replace a laptop and is on the go.

The big question when getting this tablet is how much better is the Tab S6 over the Tab S4? Is it worth the upgrade? Simple answer…yes it better and yes, it is worth the upgrade. Here are five reasons to upgrade:
1. Faster CPU and GPU. Premium specs with the Snapdragon Qualcomm 855 and minimum of 6GB RAM and 128GB Internal memory. This is a major upgrade from the Qualcomm 835 and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal memory.
2. In-display fingerprint scanner. This feature is has not failed once and works flawlessly. A huge improvement over the unusable Face Unlock with the S4.
3. Thinner and lighter. Dimensions of the Tab S6 are 9.63" x 6.28" x 0.22" compared to the Tab S4 of 9.81" x 6.47" x 0.28" and the Tab S6 is 13% lighter.
4. Improved S-Pen features. Like the Note 10+, there are several improvements to the functionality of the S-Pen including the ability to pause and skip at the press of the button, remotely take pictures, control movies or click through a presentation.
5. Finally, a storage option for the S-Pen. The S-Pen magnetically attaches to the back of the S-Pen compared to no attachment for the S4 unless you have a keyboard.
If you want a powerful tablet to browse the internet, send emails, use Microsoft Office and watch movies, look no further.

I've been EXTREMELY impressed with this machine. I'm a district manager for a phone carrier sales organization, so I'm using spreadsheets and doing lots of work on my devices. I've had every tablet made by every competitor and I have to say the Tab S6 is by far the most powerful, user friendly, and exciting of them all. Dex mode allows me to use the FULL version of excel, not just the mobile app version, which lets me use the device as a real computer when I need it to be. I love that I can have the option to switch between the user friendly android interface, and the powerhouse computer interface with the touch of a button.
My other absolute favorite item is that I can actually use the s pen for notes, and for real handwriting like feel. I love that the button gives me shortcuts to apps and tools I use constantly. The new design of it attachign and charging from the back of the device is such a better design ahead of the competition as well.
I think a really undervalued aspect of the new tablet is the ability for it to split screen so quickly and easily. This brand has been able to multitask for several versions but it always seemed to take more steps than what it was worth to get to the multitasking. Now, just simply swipe from the edge and you can have 6 preloaded apps that will automatically multitask with whatever screen you're currently using.
I love this new device, and can say with extreme confidence that it's the most versatile, high end, and quality tablet to date by any company or brand.

This Samsung Tab S6 is awesome tablet with high-end spec. It is great for Media, Gaming. Performance is awesome, I replaced my laptop to this Tab S6. I won't carry laptop all the place. I described review below each part of this Tab S6. Expensive tablet but worth to buy.
Tab Design:
Design of tab is very thin and lightweight. Tablet looks shine and aluminum body look rich. Touch feels really good. Tablet right hand side have bixby/power button & volume Up/Down button. And bottom side have Type-C Port. This Samsung Tab S6 doesn't have 3.5mm headphone jack. So using wireless headphone. Back side have S-Pen Magnetic holder but when S-pen attached doesn't flush on a desk some out on tablet. This feel uncomfortable.
Performance:
This S6 Tab have snapdragon 855 processes with 8GB RAM, apps runs very smooth. I tried couple of games like PUBG It's very smooth no lagging. Online videos like YouTube plays really good with no lagging. Internet browser working very fast when I opened multiple tabs.
Battery Life :
Samsung Tab S6 has a 7,040 mAh battery capacity. I test this full 100% charger full day use. Its reduced to 35% end of day. This is really good. And this tablet have fast charging option.
Screen Quality:
Samsung Tab S6 has a 10.5" size of screen, 2560 x 1600-pixel Super AMOLED display can get very bright and sharp screen. Gaming & video clarity is really good. On screen fingerprint sensor working nice.
S Pen:
I really love this S-Pen. very smooth to write on tablet and holding finger is good. S-Pen is wireless charged. S-Pen used to writing notes . and take screenshot and edit, etc. in this S-Pen App. S-Pen Button remotely function to capture photos and control videos and more without touching tablet. Also have Air action feature this is waving the pen around the air to volume up/down and next/previous and more.
Sound Quality :
This tablet have 4 AKG-Tuned Speakers at 4 corners with Dolby ATOM sound , This tablet have Superb sound Quality, Clear voice. And no need external Speaker. Gaming Sound experience is really awesome.
Camera:
I didn't realize this tablet have 13MB & 5MB dual camera. Photo clarity is good. And front facing camera is 8MP its support face recognition. skype works great. I rarely take photos on my tablet,in feature i plan to use. good improvement on camera.
Conclusion:
Best High-end tablet I ever used, best performance, best display, great sound quality, good battery capacity. Recommended to buy this tablet for everyone.

We have been using our Samsung Galaxy Tablet S6 for two weeks, and have configured it under 5 minutes. After that, we ran some apps (youtube, camera, email) and surfed on the internet to check the speed and functionality. One of the great features that Samsung offers is that you can use your device as a tablet or a PC (Dex feature). The add-on keyboard/cover provides easy to navigate and use the device as a normal PC. The Pen provides extra precision and fun under the tablet mode.
Performance:
1) I am a moderate user (2-4 hours/day) the tablet will last 4-6 days before requiring another charge.
2) Tablet will not lag under the 10.5" display at 1080P view under the App and Dex modes.
3) Tablets will be able to have Smart Print, Samsung Smart Things and Home Temperature Control Apps to be installed and thus controls all smart features within the tablet.
Specification and Design:
1) The tablet is slim and light. You should have no problem carrying it around.
2) If you need a portable and performant device to do heavy office work, this should be the perfect device. The keyboard and trackpad is a must.
3) Mine has 256GB, which is far enough memory to have all of your video saved under the same storage device.
4) Speed is impressive as this device has an 8 core processor and 8GB of ram.
Conclusion:
To conclude this tablet is an actual performant desktop that is portable and versatile.

You can then use it as a tablet or as a laptop. The Dex software will make it look just like a Windows desktop computer screen. With the slim design it's easy to take along on your travels or school. The display is beautiful, and the colors are true to color and crisp. The on-screen fingerprint scanner is nice, if you do not want to use the scanner you can simply use a passcode instead. An update from the Iris scanner on the S4, the fingerprint scanner is easier to use. The speakers are improved with more bass. You have four speakers on the Tab and the sound clarity is excellent. The S-Pen is a nice improvement with it being magnetic. Whether you are writing, pointing, drawing or doodling the S-Pen is comfortable to hold and use. Drawing with the S-Pen is cool. The added addition to the S-Pen is called air actions, which are commands activated by waving the S Pen around the air, does take time to get use to that, unless you are a music conductor! The battery life is good, I can get about 14 hours of heavy use before recharging. The audio Atmos is amazing and clear. Conquering the world in a game is super on the Tab. Working, surfing the net, shopping, watching a movie or playing on the Tab is marvelous. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S-6 is the most sought after in our house. Of course, you have your normal buttons on the Tab, on/off and volume and there is a USB-C-port. Be aware there is no headphone jack, for some that may be a negative, but with the way tech is going there's no need for one since everyone goes for the wireless headphones. The Dex system is easy to use, great for multitasking. I can have Netflix running and bring up a web page and more at the same time. Watching a movie on the 10.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S-6 shows beautifully. You can view You-Tube at 1444 P which is one of the best. The S-6 has an aluminum back, they got rid of the glass back which the S-4 has. The Bezel is very small, just enough to allow you to hold the tablet and see the whole screen. The S-pen fits right in, it's no longer an afterthought. Notification if the S Pen is not placed back in the right spot to charge. The battery life is very good more than 14+ hours. Fast charge c port gets you back in play quickly. The transparency option is cool for keeping notes while working or playing. Game booster (kills all other apps, so just the game is running) is a nice feature. It does seem as though Samsung has put a big focus on gamers. Fortnight at 30 fps no problem at all, no lagging.
Of course, there is a camera on the Tab. You have a multi camera set-up which means a 13 MP F 2.0 main sensor is paired with a 5-megapixel F/2.2 ultra-wide back-up, impressive. The secondary camera is great for wide angle shots. There is an 8 MP camera in the front, which is good for video calls or selfies. I still prefer the smaller smart phones for picture taking, but for occasional photos the Tab is great.
Overall a very fast, great looking screen, able to play demanding games without any lag, great expandable storage, a case that holds the S-Pen and a large keyboard with a track pad. Some people will love the Tab S-6 and others will just like it a whole lot. I received the tablet for a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

We have been using our Samsung Galaxy Tablet S6 for two weeks, and have configured it under 5 minutes. After that, we ran some apps (youtube, camera, email) and surfed on the internet to check the speed and functionality. One of the great features that Samsung offers is that you can use your device as a tablet or a PC (Dex feature). The add-on keyboard/cover provides easy to navigate and use the device as a normal PC. The Pen provides extra precision and fun under the tablet mode.
Performance:
1) I am a moderate user (2-4 hours/day) the tablet will last 4-6 days before requiring another charge.
2) Tablet will not lag under the 10.5" display at 1080P view under the App and Dex modes.
3) Tablets will be able to have Smart Print, Samsung Smart Things and Home Temperature Control Apps to be installed and thus controls all smart features within the tablet.
Specification and Design:
1) The tablet is slim and light. You should have no problem carrying it around.
2) If you need a portable and performant device to do heavy office work, this should be the perfect device. The keyboard and trackpad is a must.
3) Mine has 256GB, which is far enough memory to have all of your video saved under the same storage device.
4) Speed is impressive as this device has an 8 core processor and 8GB of ram.
Conclusion:
To conclude this tablet is an actual performant desktop that is portable and versatile.

I preordered and got it very quickly. I also ordered the keyboard cover as shown in the many advertisements. I had a Galaxy S5 with Spen and was very happy with it but read all the advertisements and decided to trade my S5 in for the S6. Glad I did but it has som many features that the learning process is pretty long. I had a keyboard with my S5 and was used to it. Now I have to learn all over again as the keys are a little different. Alphabet keys the same but the Function keys are what is different. First thing I noticed about the tablet is the weight. Much less. Also the body is much thinner. Right now I am typing with white letters on a black background. Hav to figure out how to reverse that. The performance is very quick.

I switched to the s5e a few months ago from an ipad pro and have been very happy, this tablet takes that up a couple notches. I was worried about the placement of the s pen, but it hasnt been an issue. I really love the tablet! Fingerprint sensor works great, beautiful screen, super fast.

I pre-ordered this tablet and received it just over a week ago. I also received the keyboard case recommended by Samsung. The day after I put the case on, it slipped off of my table, fell less than 2 feet, and the screen shattered. I had purchased the extended protection plan which covers accidental damage and I have now spent more than 3 days and 15 phone calls trying to get the right people to help me get this issue repaired. Not good on the customer support side of things at all.
