i bought the fn700 soundbar for a great price, so why not try out the ecosystem.
pairing was super easy. instructions might be a little spare but once it's connected it's been working great. i have to say that this sub sounds so clean. it's a really smooth and nice bass, not a shake your face off wub wub base. but don't mistake her for any slouch. when you put on interstellar or any space movie, and the rocketship takes off... well let's say the china cabinet a floor above was vibrating!! and that was only on +1 base setting.
pair this with the rear speakers and you have a wicked solid sound system. i constantly am impressed by how good this package works together. and during covid times, it's a great escape into my own movie theatre.

this sub sounds great, but only one month after purchase, the front panel is already unsticking. many others have this issue: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/samsung-swa-w700-za-350w-sound-plus-subwoofer/prd6ho4irz0zww1
when i contacted warranty support, they said that it was physical damage and not covered! how could it be physical damage if it hasn't moved in just the one month since i bought it and many others have the same exact issue? shame on you samsung, shame on you!!!!!

I bougght this sub and its a complete waste of money dont buy it..base is so weak. its the weakest sub ive had. I dont think samsung know how to do subs. Do not waste your money.

I looked at SAMSUNGS website to make sure the SUB WOOFER would work with the new Q80 SOUND BARS by HARMON/KARDON & it listed the Q80 on the page at the bottom then after I went and bought the Bass Sub for $499 plus tax plus warranty geek squad at Best Buy I get home and there is no place to plug in the DONGLE KIT to the sound bar Q80 I have. I wish SAMSUNG would not do that. Then I go back on the website after calling support and now it's saying only CERTAIN OLDER MODELS SOUND PLUS + sound bars will work with this. I know what I saw the 1st time. My new sound bar Q80 sounds awesome w/ Dolby Atmos but I am so mad this SUB WOOFER will not work with this Q80. WHY NOT SAMSUNG? Why do you make certain things to only work with certain things? that's not good for customers. You will reply with an apology but I should be able to ORDER the REAR SPEAKER for the Q80 but you can only get them if you order the Q90 series WHY? This doesn't make any sense to me. My Q80 sounds Good with the HARMON/KARDON Dolby Atmos but it needs a little more bass. Guess I have to return the SUB. Tried to use it with a $1299.00 9.1.2 Sound Bar I bought with my last CURVED SCREEN SAMSUNG but it won't take the DONGLE either. SAMSUNG STOP MAKING THINGS SO HARD ON THE CUSTOMER. YOU COULD EASILY PUT THAT PORT ON ALL UNITS YOUR SELLING AND LET ME MAKE THE DECISION TO ADD THE SUB WOOFER AND NOT YOU. I love you guys because SAMSUNG is the only company that has the 4K & 8K right. And they finally got the SOUND BARS with the Q80 & Q90 to really sound like your in the STUDIO or in the movie theatre the Dolby Atmos finally comes alive. But only with the Q Sound bars. BE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK TO MAKE SURE THIS SUB WILL WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE AND THEN DO IT AGAIN CLOSE YOUR BROWSER AND CHECK AGAIN. The 1st time my Q80 was on the page the 2nd time I checked it suddenly disappeared from the list of Soundbars that would work with this SUB.

I bought this subwoofer thinking it would compliment my curved sound plus soundbar. I connected it to the soundbar with no problem but whenever I turned up the volume the sub would cut out then start sputtering until I turned the soundbar off. I sent the soundbar in for servicing twice (oddly enough they never asked for the subwoofer). The first time they found an issue, replaced the part, then sent it back. Same problem with bass. Sent it off again. Samsung finds no issue and returns it to me. I still have this subwoofer but it is a paperweight as it sputters out at a volume of 30 on the soundbar. Understand. The soundbar had to be at a level of 50 for the sound to be sufficiently audible. This in itself told me the soundbar was defective as other owners stated at a level of 20 theirs was loud. I will never buy Samsung audio again. Utterly disappointed to say the least. Expensive paperweight.

Purchased this sub-woofer 1 year ago when I noticed the bass going in and out. The face plate of the unit is also falling off. This unit cost way too much for me to have these problems after hardly 1 year.

The subwoofers really do bring the audience to life. Playing games and watching movies feel more dramtic and are a huge upgrade compared to the subwoofers included with my old HW M550. I am using these subs with the HW MS650 and I am happy them them too.

This sub does a great job mating with compatible Samsung Sound+ soundbars. I have the MS650 which did a good job of supplying a better level of bass than most soundbars, but needed something more to really add the missing "punch". This subwoofer did the trick! I ended up with an open box at a big box store and couldn't pass it up, and was very happy I made this purchase. I'm very impressed with what Samsung has done with the Sound+ line.

Bought the HW-MS750 soundbar last month and just added the SWA-W700 subwoofer. It sounds great!! Love the deep base during movies and the added bass while playing music. It definitely adds a nice touch to a great soundbar.

Recently bought along with the ms750 and the sound is just amazing...only thing though I'm wondering if Samsung will sell the cloth cover for the subwoofer but overall it's an amazing product
