Cable is fragile by design and for a reason.

cable is fragile by design. high speed optical cables have a max bend radius. if you cant take care with these cables then dont buy this tv. it likely has a optical transcever in each end and the cable is glass. if u have a broken one cut the cable and see if there is a red light coming out. likely 2 strands.

didn't even last a year, this cable will break due a a slight breeze and replacing it will cost an arm and leg.
This is backwards innovation, I'm sure they are banking on people needing to replace this cable.

One Connect...and one only

This OneConnect concept stinks (a junction box that functions like an HDMI switchboard with Arc-like smarts but regrettably functions as the TV's dedicated driver and peripheral brain connected by a proprietary fiberoptic umbilical cord with no room for cleverly extending or piggybacking to my existing prewired walls with the clever use of baluns, etc. Not to be snob but my DIY days of creatively running exposed wires along baseboards, under carpets etc, are simply over. I've moved on to a world where wires aren't exposed , even wires that they consider "invisible" wires, puh=leez. With an AV closet far from the final destination TV nooks all has been slickly prewired and, I thought , future-proofed for; many generations of TV's to come. designed to be hidden and well protected in the walls.where wires should be, now thats "invisible". With this setup, the TV can only be connected to the brain via this one cable and I aint buying their extra long $200 proprietary accessory extension cable to run all the way to the av closet. Like a college kid running a spool of 12 g speaker wire under the bed, over the doorway, behind the sofa, round the toilet, with the final unused length coiled in the plant for his first set of stereo speaker incense-god monolithic speakers, I'm getting that vibe again as I realize that I'm gonna have to just leave the brain next to the TV and have another switchboard in the av closet, and keep the ROKU after all since the smart part of the TV has to stay at the end of the chain next to the TV doing me no good for all my peripherals. . ut, I for one am not thrilled by this setup, nor did I understand the limitation when purchased
One Connect....Thats right...one and only One way to connect to this TV.

Way too delicate

Wish I had read some reviews before I bought my tv. Everything worked great for about 6 months then I noticed that my tv would start to flicker and eventually reset. I didn't know what the problem was for the longest time and just thought that I was sold a lemon. Did some investigating and discovered that other people were having the same problem. Turns out that this "revolutionary" cable is quite brittle. I had bought this for my xbox one x, but I cannot even enjoy that anymore since I never know when the video feed is just going to shut off completely. This cable is way too expensive to simply just replace. Now I'm stuck with a really expensive tv that doesn't work properly.

The invisible connection cable is a small but very important part of Samsung's Frame TV setup. In order to make the TV flush with the wall, the connections are offloaded to a main box which connects to the TV using the invisible connection cable. Whether you are running your cable into the wall or running it along the baseboards, this cable allows you to minimize the overall visibility of the connections to the Frame TV.
The only problem I encountered when running the cable along my baseboards is that the cable can be a bit delicate. Samsung does include some padding and a spindle to mitigate this issue. I highly recommend using these turn pads and the spindle.

Safe to say Sam and Frodo wouldn't have to find a volcano for this accessory! The invisible connection cable for the Samsung Frame TV truly is precious. If you have ever mounted a flat screen TV to your wall, you know how difficult it can be trying to plug in and unplug your cables for all of your various systems while the TV is mounted. The invisible connection cable and One Connection box completely solve this problem. Gone are the unsightly cables running up your wall, or the need to drill huge holes to hide all of your cables. This cable blended very well with multiple different wall colors where we had our Frame TV. And you can place the One Connection box anywhere convenient and out of sight. Even when people saw the cable and asked what it was, it was fun to say "That is all of my HDMI, Component and Optical cables for all of my peripherals going in to the TV. Every TV should have the invisible connection cable! This this is truly revolutionary.

The Samsung Invisible Connect Cable puts the finishing touch on the installation of the 55 inch Frame TV. It does exactly what its name implies - remains invisible. When not in use, the Frame TV blends seamlessly into my existing wall of artwork. This wouldn't be possible without the Invisible Connect Cable. The purpose of the Frame TV's concept would be defeated if I'd had to install it using very conspicuous traditional cables. The Invisible Connect Cable connects the TV to the One Connect box, which contains the HDMI, USB, and other ports needed to operate the TV. Since these ports aren't housed behind the TV, the TV is able to lie flush against the wall. The Invisible Connect Cable is barely noticeable. I highly recommend it.

These cables are the coolest thing Samsung has created to help keep their TV's looking sharp when installed in our homes. This cable is super long, almost 50ft. The cable itself is so small and clear, it can be run anywhere to keep it hidden or out of sight. Overall, this cable is sweet! I love what Samsung has done here and I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for cleaning up all those devices plugged into the TV itself.

Its hard for me to say whether or not I love this cable. In concept it is an amazing idea. Since I do not have a space on a wall in my living room, I was not able to hang it on the wall. Right now the cable just runs from the back of the TV to the Box which is located directly below the TV. So since I was not bale to hang it, its not being used to its full potential. I hope i can find away to take full advantage of such an amazing idea/product. I think that it will change the way people connect their tvs.

This cable is genius. It is only about the thickness of a piece of spaghetti and is clear so it blends in almost invisibly to the wall. It only works with a Samsung QLED TV which is a shame as I'm sure many people would buy it for their TVs if they could. At 49' in length it allows for lots of flexibility when it comes to mounting your TV and connecting it to your device. It even has a cable wrap built in that takes up all the slack so there is literally zero lose cable around to trip over or look ugly. It is one of those things that once you see it, you wonder why we put up with those thick clunky cables all these years.

This invisible connection is a gamers godsend. Having a TV as attractive as the Samsung Frame, there is nothing worse than the eye being drawn to all the cables hanging off it.
Well worry no more, the invisible connection moves all that to a place where you can hide it. The focus stays on the beautiful screen and EVERYTHING I need is connected.

This is a great way to minimize/organize cables from wall-mount TV. I think all TV manufacturers have to follow what Samsung has done for QLED TV or Frame TV, and hope Samsung would follow the same direction on all of their future TVs. I needed this cable because my TV (Frame 65inch) is mounted on the wall where no TV stand or other furniture is placed underneath. And my One connect box (TV set top box) is hidden in the small cabinet on the side. This cable works perfectly for my need. Be cautious not to bend the cable close to 90 degree. Use the included cable guide (small plastic) to prevent any damage on the cable.
Highly recommended!

Consolidating all the connections to a separate breakout box, Samsung has cleared all the clutter around the Frame TV. The connection cable is practically invisible, adding to the illusion the Frame TV is just a picture frame hanging on the wall. The 15m length is long enough to keep all your A/V components out of site, while the inventive spooling mechanism keeps the cord itself under control, just unwind as much as you need. The proprietary end connectors are clearly labeled to ensure correct connectivity.

The 15m invisible connection cable makes finding the perfect place for your new TV easy. It maximizes the potential of a room and lets the flow change if you want. The cable is long enough to reach from one side of my living room, where all of my cables are, under the window, over a back door, across the baseboard and up to the tv itself facing the "original tv wall". It is slightly noticeable, but it does not take away from the look or jump out at your guests that have no idea it is there to begin with. I wish the wire case was larger for storing purposes but works amazing to keep the wires untangled behind another display with the One Connect Box. It looks amazing and it sturdy for what I expected from it and I would recommend this for anyone with a compatible tv to break the conventional wire forest going to the tv.

This invisible cable has made a ton of difference, from the way it's provided to you (wrapped up on its own cord-winder) to the ease of sending it through the smurf tube in the wall. I love that it provides such a crisp picture and that you have no problem getting it connected because of how easy it is. Thanks for your innovation, Samsung!

The Frame TV actually comes with two Invisible Connection Cables. One to connect the TV to the One Connect Box. The second is a much longer extension enabling the Frame TV to be hung on a wall.
The instruction manual is clear and helpful, but the amazing part is to actually see the instructions on the TV set, as per the first attached photo. The cable itself is extremely thin, and yet is extremely sturdy. Included are four plastic corner protectors for each cable as well as a rubber spool to wind and hide the cable itself, as per the second attached picture.
The other thick cables that are shown in the picture are for the Blu-Ray, the VCR, and some other old connections. It would be great if future electronics adopted the Invisible Connection Cable that this Samsung the Frame has.

The Ultimate TV Cable

It is truly hard to believe that a cable about the size of fishing line can connect all of your video devices (Cable box, DVD, Bluray, Video game systems, etc.) to your television! But, that is exactly what Samsung did with its Invisible Connection Cable. The cable connects your Samsung TV (invisible connection capable ready Samsung TV) to a small box about the size of a dvd player. From here, you plug all of your video devices into the box and the Invisible Connection Cable. Then, the only cable, other than the TV's power cable) that runs to your TV is the Invisible Connection Cable, which can easily be put into a cable cover or run behind a wall.
It is important to note that the TV's power cable is much larger, so to run it along with the Invisible Connection Cable, you have to either drill a bigger hole in the wall or use a wider cable cover. It would have been truly awesome if Samsung had figured out how to deliver power to the TV through the same cable. Nevertheless, having only one fishing line width cable to deliver all of your video components to the TV is far superior (and far neater) to five or six large HDMI cables handing down the wall. It shoudl be noted that the ends of the Invisible Cable Connection are quite large. The ends are about the same width as an HDMI cable, so any attempt to run the cable behind the wall will require a hole in the wall about an inch and half in diameter.
The cable is truly an innovation in television connections. The cable comes spooled around a rubber disc, which allows the line to be pulled out in either direction. The 15m or approximately 50ft cable length offers a much longer cable then the one that comes with some of Samsung TVs. The longer cable allows for a much longer cable run if you TV is located far from your video component cabinet or storage area. Having such a small cable and a long length allows you to store your DVD players, game systems, cable boxes, etc. in an area further away from your TV. It would even allow you to conceal or hide the otherwise unsightly collection of boxes and wires in a closet or other covered storage area. However, as I mentioned above, you still need to locate the TV close to a power outlet, because the separate power cable is only four to five feet in length.
The cable is an aesthetic must-have for any slim wall mounted TV. It will truly be "magical" if Samsung figures out how to put the TV's power connection into the same cable.

TV as a Piece of Art
elenarus

We just bought a new house with the living room set up so that the only place for the TV is above the fireplace. Initially we put our old TV, but I really didn't like to see a big black box showcased above our beautiful white fireplace with built-in bookshelves on both sides. I was super excited to be chosen to test Samsung Frame 55" TV as part of a promotional campaign.
The set up was pretty easy and straightforward. The no gap wall mount was included in the box. Frame TV has a cool looking clear-colored Invisible Connection cable that allows clean and seamless look and lets our TV blend into the wall. Now our new Frame TV is flush against the wall, mounted perfectly.
We tried several pictures that came with the TV, then we downloaded some from the web to match our décor. The art is very cool to look at when you pick the right piece with the correct matte. It really is difficult to tell that it's digital. We were also quickly and easily able to upload our own photos to Art Mode.
The Frame TV virtually disappears into our living room decor and looks like a true work of art when in the Art Mode.
The picture dims in the Art Mode depending on the lighting in the room, so it doesn't look like you're just looking at an LED monitor. There is a light sensor that adapts to the lighting and dims the image. I also liked that TV turns itself off in the dark when in the Art Mode.
The picture quality on the Frame TV is crisp, vibrant and extremely vivid. It has very bright colors and best contrast/black level I've seen on the big screen TV. Perhaps the best thing I noticed was that there was no glare from the windows. It has been a bit problematic with our old TV since our living room has lots of windows and receives a lot of natural light which made watching TV during the day difficult.
Built in speakers have excellent sound quality which is much better than our old Samsung TV.
This is an excellent product for someone who likes the TV above the fireplace. Frame TV adds a sharp, clean look to any room and provides a versatility of having a flat-screen TV and wall art in the same space.

Great and powerful cable to connect to the One Connect Box. Very thin and easy to hide on the wall or in molding.
One of the best perks to the Frame TV or QLED from Samsung is the use of the Invisible Connection Cable.
The only negative to this cable is that the ends are so large that if you are running it through a wall you have to take that into account, but I believe the intent was for people that are going to be running it along the wall of which it is perfect for.

The cable is expensive because it's made of tiny optical wires instead of traditional copper wiring, giving it it's invisible look.
Unfortunately the QLED one connect box does not have a wall mount if you are shooting for a wall-mounted solution - if you try to mount the one connect box vertically, make sure that the cable does not bend from the connector somehow (eg, because the box is mounted vertically like from a stand, the cable could potentially be hanging down from a higher place to the TV if you mounted it like that, meaning the cable would come to a slight bend). Sharp bends beyond its wound up configuration will destroy the cable.
I'm unsure at this moment in time how to protect the cable, but Samsung should include some kind of cable guard coming from the ends of each connector so that it can properly curve the cabling in a vertical configuration.
