bought the frame samsung tv (super expensive) in july 2021. it flakes out constantly and now its out for good. its only a few months old and its due to this horribly made one cable. and guess what? no one around here has one. and they are $300 to order one. do not buy this large dumpster ornament. the best part… when i was trying to write this review, the automated system tried to get me to let them "resolve" it by chatting "24/7 live" to not write a negative review so i obliged. not to my surprise after 5 minutes of waiting, no one ever came to chat. i'll be purchasing another brand and hauling this junk out. thanks samsung, glad i could make a charitable donation to you!

seriously, a $3,000 tv that breaks twice a year. this one connect cable has died on me every 6 months. i live alone and never touched or moved the cables since installation and it still find a way to die out on me. never buying a high end tv from samsung brand new again. will wait for 1 year reviews from now on.

i researched the perfect tv. i saved for a year to get this $2000 tv. it's 2 years old. earlier this year it started glitching. the piece plugged into the box needed propped up so i put some thin sheets of wood underneath which helped but the flashing got more frequent, the picture goes away and the tv restarts itself. now it's happening several times in one movie. last night i unplugged the cord from the box, the metal was really hot. i see this is a super common problem. why isn't there a recall!? i don't care if the cord is visible. i want durability. issue a recall and send out new cords. not just new ones, upgraded ones that don't weaken as they bend where they plug in or maybe have a block built under it so it can't wilt and break. i literally cannot watch tv right now.

This is my second Samsung TV with the same connectivity issues. I have to reconnect the the one connect cable all the time for the TV to recognize any attached devices. Loosing picture all the time and have to reconnect. In addition I found out that the one connect plug overheats, which maybe the cause of all the issues. I now have a fan next to it to cool it down, sounds really stupid to me ... Anyway Samsung should get some smart engineers to design their products, instead of the sales people ;-)

I had 65inch Frame TV installed Professionally in Nov 2018 and loved it. It worked for 3mths then stopped working for no reason, I discovered it was the cable. I purchased a new one, and it stopped working within days. I now can't even buy another 15m cable for this model. I can see that this is a very common issue but Samsung are ignoring their loyal customers. Very Disappointing Samsung.

Just reading the negative reviews on here that are consistent with cable failure and unit failure and thought I would bring some balance to this.
I professionally installed 19 Samsung frames at my workplace with zero issues so far -they have been running 24/7 for 8 months straight.
We were very careful with unit handling and fiber installation to the connect box -I suggest anyone purchasing these pay for a professional install or be experienced with AV installation and I bet some of the problems listed here by others might be mitigated.

This cable randomly stopped working after about 3 days of TV use. The TV cost me $3,000 (QLED) so needless to say I was concerned. Under warranty, they replaced the OneConnect box and cable and everything started working again. However, the cable died again after a few days. Why is this cable not replaced by Samsung with something more affordable and durable? It's just stupid how fragile this is.

This worked great with our surround sound for about 3 months then got linked even while being very careful moving our tv. If this product wasn't so highly priced I would definitely purchase a new one, however if it breaks this easily I refuse to continue to purchase. Now we have a highly effective Samsung tv and Bose surround sound and have to go through multiple steps to connect the surround sound each time....ridiculous.

The cable is too fragile to be used in the real world. I had mine installed by professional trades & it worked perfectly for 6 months. Then, without anything changing, the cord just stops working. Why don't you offer to versions one for people who want to pretend that they can't see the wire & one for people who want the cable to work for more than 6 months.

I only used my tv once to test if it works and I moved my tv to the table. When turned it on again I found that there is no display on screen as the wire got bend and damaged.

Purchased the t.v. in December 2017. Needed a 49' cable to reach from stereo closet to wall mounted t.v.
( model Qn65q7famfxza). Purchased the cable and finished installing the t.v..,everything is great for 6 months until it just stopped sending signal to one connect box. Called samsung and got the run around. Basically samsung would only stand behind cable replacement if it was purchased from best buy. It takes best buy 2 weeks to order cable. I found the cable online and it was only a couple days to have it shipped. I didn't want to wait 2 weeks for cable when I just spent a lot of money on the t.v. Only samsung makes this cable, so regardless of where it was purchased samsung should stand behind there products.

The internet is full of people having problems with this cable failing. This causes the tv to begin shutting off and on by its self and the remote stops working. I have two of these tv and by switching the cables the problem follows the cable to the other tv. Cables have not been moved or touched since original installation. They just fail over time.
