if installing on walls framed with wood or steel studs, blocking is a must-have to strengthen the wall and allow for all twelve bolts to be used. this mount cannot be relied upon to hold a 100-lb tv with only four of the samsung-supplied bolts screwed into 16" on center wood framing (and the slots for the bolts aren't big enough to accommodate lag bolts similar to those which are included with mounts from other manufacturers)

i was all set to mount this. paid a hefty price for it figuring it would be straight forward. only included screws to mount on a concrete wall. tells you in the instructions if you mount on anything else that is not concrete go get the appropriate screws. thanks samsung.

this is perfect if your trying to attached it to a concrete wall where you can drill anywhere. for those of you with preset studs for an tv, there is no adjustment. if i were to use this mount, the tv wouldn't be centered on the wall. my fault for not studying the design more closely before i ordered it.

this only comes with hardware for attaching to a concrete wall. this does not contain the appropriate lag screws for attaching to wood framed walls. so be ready for a trip to the hardware store if you want to properly hang this bracket.
