The dimensions of this require the wall studs to be in the exact spacing of where you want to hang your TV. NO room for error. I am in an older home and the studs are not excactly to today's standards. Could not use this mount. To add to the challenge, by the time I learned of the issue Samsung would not take it back due to time lapse from purchase.

I bought 2018 Q7 FN AND no gap wall mount screws are small so not able to fit it in TV

Great Mount, work as intended. Majority of the negative reports on this site are due to non compatibility; not Samsung Fault if they failed to read the item description. It clearly states that is compatible with Q7FN, Q9FN as well as Q9, Q8, Q7, last 3 are 2017 model not to get them confused with 2018 models (FN)

Samsung provided 4 M4 L14 screws to attach the TV back pad. However, the provided screws were too short. I have to buy separate M4 L20 to screw it on. Watch out for this

This doesn't work with all 65 and 55 inch 2018 Q Series TVs, as the product name suggests. I had to return the wall mount because it wasn't compatible with my new 55" Class Q8FN QLED Smart 4K UHD TV (2018).

I recently purchased a Samsung Q8FN 55" TV. After adding the TV to the cart, this wall mount was suggested automatically by the website. As the title of the wall mount is "....for 65" and 55" Q Series TVs (2018) I did not look further into the compatibility at this point in the purchase process. This wall mount is NOT compatible with the Q8FN. The title of it should be changed, and it certainly should not be automatically suggested by the Samsung website when adding the Q8FN to the cart. On another note, the customer service trying to get this returned and a correct wall mount sent out has been shocking. Over an hour of messing around with 3 different people on the phone and via the online chat help, all suggesting either this wall mount as the right one (it isn't) or several completely different offerings. Really disappointed, I would expect better from a company like Samsung.

I recently purchased for my QLED, but did not realize if was not compatible with my Q6 (only 7 and above--even though the description says Q series TV's (2018). I missed the compatibility in the detailed description. Trying to get return slip has been impossible. Website won't work and chat session closed automatically after waiting 15 minutes. Love my TV and this mount looks awesome, but will never buy direct from Samsung again.

No Gap Wall Mount / Does not work

I own several Samsung TV's and like their quality. Recently, I bought a Q8F 65' TV and the "No Gap Wall Mount for Q Series TV's" from the Samsung site. The wall mount from Samsung did not fit the Q8F. Your advertising is misleading. After contacting your customer service they would not return the product because it fell outside of the 15 day window. I called Best Buy and they said they knew about this problem with the Samsung site. Why the poor attention to details?
